In 2023 and 2024, we strengthened our foundation to reach new heights. We took action on our operational assessment and strategic plan to strengthen our membership, grantmaking and operations. Drawing on the social capital of our Members, we recruited the largest number of new Members since our founding in 2001 and conducted a matching challenge that led to our largest grants distribution in history: $750,000.

The Women’s Giving Alliance is a community of women united to give. We welcome all women who share our mission to invest in the lives of women and girls.

From 2023-2024, a Member-led task force interviewed grantees and community leaders on challenges facing women and girls. These findings were combined with secondary data and presented to Members. The outcome is WGA’s new focus area for its grants and community efforts for 2025 and beyond: Addressing Violence Against Women & Girls.
