WGA hosts a number of events throughout the year, including:

  • Large semi-annual luncheons in the spring and fall (Member Forum and Annual Meeting)
  • Smaller educational events, lectures and panel discussions

Whether you’re managing your personal digital safety, supporting a loved one, or working to create a safer digital community, this discussion will equip you with tools, knowledge, and confidence to stay safe and help others do the same.

2024 Annual Meeting

WGA celebrated its largest grant pool to date, $9.7 million awarded in total over its history, and 460 Members. We announced a new leadership structure designed to maximize the contributions of our volunteer leaders and strengthen our support for our work and grantmaking. The next grant cycle will focus on Addressing Violence Against Women and Girls.

2024 Member Forum

WGA proudly announced a new strategic focus area for its community and grantmaking efforts for 2025 and beyond – Addressing Violence Against Women & Girls: Preventing, Surviving, Thriving. Our research found violence against women and girls includes child abuse and neglect, harassment and bullying, intimate partner and domestic violence, predatory social media, rape, sex (human) trafficking, and more. Grantee Panel: Creating Safety for Women & Girls in Crisis

During this WGA Education Event we delved into the crucial topic of fostering safety for women and girls experiencing domestic violence. Representatives from WGA grantees Betty Griffin Center, Hubbard House, Micah’s Place and Quigley House convened as a panel, exploring strategies for creating safe, secure environments and empowering survivors.
