The Women’s Giving Alliance is a diverse, vibrant community of more than 440 Members. We’re passionate leaders, mothers, daughters, business professionals, mentors and volunteers.

In 2001, five women set out to make a lasting impact in the lives of women and girls in Northeast Florida. Today, more than 440 Members bring that vision to life. WGA membership is open to all women. Each of our Members brings a unique perspective and set of experiences that improve our work.

At this annual event, we not only ratify our proposed grants to local non-profit agencies, but we encourage and inspire each other to become greater strategic philanthropists. At WGA, there are as many ways to get involved as there are Members. You can simply be an investor…or you can be President. It’s entirely up to you.

What’s Happening
Upcoming Events
The Women's Giving Alliance hosts a number of events for members to get to know one another and to learn about strategic philanthropy. Most are open to the public.
WGA's Strategic Focus Area
From 2023-2024, a Member-led task force interviewed grantees and community leaders on challenges facing women and girls. These findings were combined with secondary data and presented to Members. The outcome is WGA’s new focus area for its grants and community efforts for 2025 and beyond: Addressing Violence Against Women & Girls.
2023/24 Annual Report to the Community
In 2023 and 2024, WGA reached new heights. We recruited the largest number of new Members since our founding in 2001 and conducted a matching challenge that led to our largest grants distribution in history.
