At WGA, we envision a world in which all women and girls can reach their full potential and live healthy, enriching lives. In 2001, five women set out to make a lasting impact in the lives of women and girls in Northeast Florida. Today, more than 430 Members bring that vision to life. WGA membership is open to all women. Each of our Members brings a unique perspective and set of experiences that improve our work.
WGA is a diverse and inclusive community. We welcome all women who want to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in Northeast Florida.
Join WGA’s Advocacy Committee on a bus excursion to the state capitol on December 6th. Explore the inner workings of the legislative process, gain insights into the world of politics behind the scenes and hear from prominent government speakers. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to tour the Old Capitol building; and, with a small group, visit a local elected official’s office to share the impact of WGA’s grant making in their area.
At WGA, there are as many ways to get involved as there are Members. You can simply be an investor…or you can be President. It’s entirely up to you.
Since our first grants in 2002, WGA has awarded more than $8.9 million in grants to 70 local nonprofits that support women and girls in Northeast Florida.
